Reiki is not part of any religion or belief system. It works easily and well with the practice of all other healing modalities. In fact, an increasing number of hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice programs are including Reiki in the treatment given.
You can learn how to give Reiki
to yourself!
The practitioner gently lays her hands on or above different areas of your body. There is no pressure applied, and no moving of your body. You remain fully dressed. The Reiki energy moves through the practitioner’s hands and into your body. A treatment takes about an hour.
Most people find Reiki feels very nurturing, either deeply relaxing or tremendously energizing, and full of love and peace.
